PUTTY

j and i did some community service this morning: we played board games with and served lunch to homeless men living in a shelter. afterwards we got some lunch of our own and treated ourselves to manicures. opi's "you dont know jacques" makes your fingers look like you've been playing in clay... in a good way

McQUEEN

i am greatly saddened by the news that lee mcqueen has passed away so early in his life. though i was often perplexed by his shows i was always able to appreciate his concrete vision. his ability to make the viewer uncomfortable truly accentuated the beauty of his expertly tailored pieces.

SNOW DAY

it's rare that college kids get "snow days" but given that it is currently blizzarding here our schools were forced to close for two days!! [and i was supposed to have a test today, wahoo!!!!]. as a result, j and i have been lounging allllll day: napping, snacking, internet shopping, and watching weird shows on tv... all of which will continue on tomorrow!!!

loved gaga and elton, loved mary j [as always], loved b's black outfit [and her nephew julez], taylor swift's dress was unflattering but she's young and cute, pink was a mess [but we both rep philly], slash performed with that nut jamie foxx, i really like that green day song, smokey robinson sings wonderfully, so does maxwell, rip in peace mj [still cant believe it], lil wayne is great, taylor swift for album of the year? i guess...

im not sure if that was chronological but i tried!
