i went to dinner with my dad and my sister at one of my favorite restaurants [i had my birthday there 3 years ago]. pod is a pan asian restaurant in philadelphia that features a bunch of tasty of hot entrees, conveyor belt sushi, candy colored martinis, anime cartoons, and "pods" which are basically private tables in rooms that allow you to change the color of the lighting..definitely something you would have to see in person. [sorry i didnt take pictures, i left my camera at home]
pod is one of stephen starr's restaurants. stephen starr is the mastermind behind starr restaurants which was "founded in 1995, and is now one of the fastest growing multi-concept restaurant companies in the country". i really admire starr's culinary perspective and business savvy. ive been to almost all of his restaurants in the tri-state area so i want to take a trip to try his newest one in ft. lauderdale, steak 954 anyone?
